Where is Afghanistan?

Afghanistan is a landlocked country in the middle of central and southern Asia. It shares a border with Pakistan to the south and Iran to the west. North of Afghanistan you can find Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.

Afghanistan’s climate ranges from very hot summers to frigid winters depending on where you are in the country. It is generally arid during the summer months, with most rainfall occuring between December and April. The country is mostly outside of the monsoon zone, except for the Nuristan Province that gets some summer rain.
