Crisis in Chad
ShelterBox is working to support some of the thousands of people who have fled to Chad to escape the violence in Sudan
Over six months, we will run 12 storytelling workshops and training sessions. These will equip participants with the tools and skills to share their experiences. We have the privilege of running this project alongside our amazing local partner, Public Concern. Together we hope to listen to and capture authentic stories told directly from those who know them best.
The stories which the community produce will be shared throughout 2024 as our group of participants will take over a series of ShelterBox supporter emails, meaning they can share whatever stories they wish directly with you. Sign up to our emails now so you don’t miss out!
We are excited to continue championing community voices; keeping people, and the issues they face, at the heart of our project.
Sign up to our emailsThis project gave me the opportunity to have the technique and method of telling a story, because I love writing and I consider myself a writer. I did it without any real technique but I learned to improve and take photos that tell a story
