Burkina Faso: building safer shelter for 900 families
We are supporting displaced communities in Burkina Faso with emergency and transitional shelter. Construction is now underway on 1,700 shelters, helping families create safer, more stable places to live after being forced from their homes.

Madagascar: rebuilding safer homes after consecutive cyclones
After back-to-back cyclones, distributions are now complete. Working with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), we are now focused on recovery by training local carpenters to build stronger homes. These carpenters are sharing their skills within their communities, helping more families repair and strengthen their shelters over time.

Sharing the impact of emergency shelter at the Tate Modern in London, UK
At a recent event at the Tate Modern art gallery, our colleagues at ShelterBox Trust in the UK shared the impact of Hurricane Melissa and highlighted why emergency shelter is critical in the immediate aftermath of disaster. They were honoured to hear from explorer and UK Chief Scout Dwayne Fields.
